Case Study Three - Town
& Courtyard Gardens
In our opinion good design for small gardens and courtyards
in urban areas is essential to take full advantage of the
limited available space.
Here you can see examples from a selection of sites
completed for clients in the Kent and East Sussex area.
In the more modern examples striking contemporary pots
and planters have been coupled with architectural foliage
and plants to provide low maintenance gardens that
maximise the available space and at the same time provide
a retreat
from “outside busy…ness.”
Decking and patio areas have provided practical solutions
for outdoor dining and play areas, while individually
designed bespoke pergolas, gazebos and summer-houses,
made by Sandstone, have helped maximise the use of the smaller garden. In conjunction
with outdoor lighting these gardens are now able to be used for much of the
year, thus extending the inside space outside. |
